Instinet Moves 600 via Hosted FIX Testing

NEW YORK--Electronic broker Instinet used a hosted FIX certification process when it needed to move 600 clients onto its next generation FIX platform, underscoring the benefits of an automated approach and the need for firms to take an active role in getting counterparties up to speed with FIX.
Using the ttCERT service of TransactTools, Instinet covered the cost of its clients remotely running 1,200 to 1,300 FIX sessions from April to October of last year, says Mike Healy, first vice president
