Savvis to Reduce Workforce by 15%, Shift Operating Plan

HERNDON, VA.—As market conditions and uncertainty surrounding the Bridge sale and Telerate bidding persist, network provider Savvis announced it would cut costs by reducing its workforce by 15 percent. The Bridge spinoff also revealed plans to alter its operating plan.
The bulk of the 60 job cuts will come from Savvis’ operational and engineering teams and affect employees involved with the recently completed network and data center buildout. Savvis says it plans to put the brakes on any
