QUICKFIX GETS NEW SUPPORT
Macdonald Associates and Connamara Systems have agreed to collaborate on the first formal customer support initiative for the open source FIX engine, dubbed QuickFIX, targeted at the securities and derivatives transactions. The European-based Macdonald and Chicago-based Connamara will offer support services throughout Europe and North America, including developer assistance, operational support and testing and support tools. Demand for this kind of support is growing
