Reuters 3000 Xtra Goes Mobile with Companion

Reuters began providing customers with a wireless version of 3000 Xtra last week in an effort to add value to its flagship desktop service.

The product, called 3000 Xtra Companion, provides access to charts, news and delayed prices via a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) or standard Internet browser. The service can be used in minutes, the vendor says, following a simple set-up process. It is being offered to subscribers of Reuters' 3000 Xtra at no extra cost.
