Icap Rolls Out Swaps Price Network
DELIVERY TECHNOLOGIES
Interdealer broker Icap is rolling out i-Swap, a free service, to automate the delivery of prices for about 1,000 euro, dollar, sterling and yen-denominated interest-rate swap, overnight index swap and forward rate agreement instruments.
This will be the first time Icap has distributed "real" prices, although they are not electronically executable using the system. The prices have previously only been given to traders over the phone by brokers.
