The market data fallout from the imminent merger of PaineWebber Inc. and Kidder Peabody & Co. has gathered momentum: As brokers from both firms await the completion of PaineWebber's purchase of Kidder -- scheduled for the first quarter of 1995 -- word has emerged that Kidder has succumbed to the will of its new parent by deciding to install Reuters' Quotron Advantage AE platform in support of some 2,400 retail quote service users.
