SunGard Launches PowerPartner on the Web
DELIVERY TECHNOLOGIES
SunGard Market Data Services has gone live with an Internet-accessible version of its market data application, SunGard PowerPartner, at six firms, president Dennis Morgan tells Inside Market Data.
The new service allows users to access the same PowerPartner application that runs on the client firm’s server or on SunGard’s server over a broadband Internet connection rather than through a Local Area Network or landline. The service runs through a firm’s firewalls for security.
Unlike thin client
Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
