Quote Volumes Prompt Townsend Ticker Revamp
DELIVERY TECHNOLOGIES
Market data and trading software vendor Townsend Analytics is nearing the end of a complete redesign of its in-house ticker plant in order to cope with the rising volumes of quote data.
The move to create a virtually new quote engine, dubbed TALHermes, was prompted by the increasing frailty of the more than 15-year-old TA_Srv ticker plant in the face of rising market data message rates.
