Reuters First Approaches Last Days
Clients of Reuters First were notified about a year ago that the vendor planned to discontinue support for the product, and the majority of those users have already migrated to a newer, browser-based terminal dubbed Reuters Trader Northern Europe (RTNE), according to David Watts, head of exchange-traded instruments in Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Thomson Reuters.
The remaining Reuters First terminals will be switched off at the end of September, allowing Thomson Reuters to decommission
