Markit Plans Multi-Bank Valuations Service
Markit last week unveiled plans to launch a global, multi-bank, cross-asset valuations platform for buy-side clients, dubbed Markit Valuations Manager, which will consolidate OTC derivatives and consensus cash valuations from dealers with independent valuations from Markit via a single platform. Citi, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch and UBS have already signed up as contributors to the platform, which the vendor plans to launch in
