Markit Readies New Feed, Desktop

Markit will launch a new range of data delivery options this summer that will combine its premium OTC derivatives content with other third-party data sets in a consolidated feed and terminal, dubbed Markit Finance Engine and Markit Desktop.

The products will be built on technology from Dutch data and technology provider MarketXS that Markit acquired last year (IMD, Sept. 11, 2006), and will utilize MarketXS' technological expertise in consolidating multiple data sets from equity, foreign exchange
