BNY Promotes Two to Bolster DEx

ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT

NEW YORK—BNY Brokerage, a subsidiary of the Bank of New York, last week announced that two of its executives have been promoted so that they can focus more on the company's electronic platform, dubbed DEx (Direct Execution Services).

Derek Morris is now co-head of BNY Brokerage's program trading business with Jim Bossert, while Ana Burke will oversee a new DEx sales and marketing unit.

Morris joined the bank two years ago to run its program trading product and he will now work with the DEx
