HONG KONG-Following pilot tests in July, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEx) has begun rolling out new hardware and software as part of an upgrade of its Automatic Order Matching and Execution System (AMS/3) open gateway multi-workstation system.
The upgrade, which includes hardware from IBM and network services from PCCW, a network provider, is the third phase of a three-part HKEx integration project that involves the integration of the telecommunication networks for HKEx's existing four
