Using FIX to mitigate risk and achieve best execution in the Canadian markets will be discussed at the FPL Canadian Electronic Trading Conference being held today, June 1, and tomorrow, June 2, in Toronto, says Robert Smythe, vice president of research and market development for IT consultancy Stratix Consulting, which is hosting the conference. "We want to have the conference reinforce the advantages and importance of being part of the FPL," he says.
