Latency in Mind, LSE Debuts Hosting Service
The first phase of the project involves an initial release later this month of cabinets where servers can be located closer to the exchange. The idea is to make the service available only to market participants rather than vendors, according to Wendy Morgan, head of real time data at the LSE.
At press time, the LSE declined to give the names of clients signed up for the service. Morgan also declined to confirm if vendors will eventually have access to these cabinets.
