Bats Ramps Up for European Launch
"We're in the midst of internal testing and will be moving to client testing very soon," says Paul O'Donnell, COO for Bats Europe. "However, we don't have a fixed timetable for that," he adds.
Aside from connecting and testing with the Bats trading platform, clients will also be testing with the European Multilateral Clearing Facility (EMCF), which will be clearing trades from the MTF.
The MTF operator currently has teams in London and Kansas City, Mo.-the location of its parent company Bats
