Report: IT Budgets to Rise in Japan

A survey of 316 brokers, which consisted of the country's six top brokers, nine online brokers, 270 small and midsize brokers, and 31 foreign security firms, reveals that IT spending in the industry will reach an estimated $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2008, up 16 percent from $3.1 billion spent in fiscal year 2007. This growth rate is lower than the 24 percent growth rate between 2006 and 2007.
