BearingPoint Hails the Electric Repo
FIXED-INCOME TECHNOLOGIES
NEW YORK—The growth of electronic platforms means that the repurchase agreement (repo) market will undergo significant change in the coming years and ultimately require ITstandardization, according to a report from BearingPoint.
The study examines the bond market's move toward electronic platforms and assesses the size and competitive forces of the European cash market. BearingPoint spoke to about 30 members of the Euro pean fixed-income community, state treasuries and clearing and settlement
