Features in the Coral8 Engine and Portal version 5.5 were designed to enhance the scale and applicability of CEP products to do very large-scale, real-time analytics, according to John Morrell, vice president of product marketing at Coral8.

Morrell says Coral8's internal development team worked with four financial services firms to develop the key features in the new release. Although he declines to name the customers, he says three are brokerages and the fourth is on the credit side.
