Citi Poised for ATD Acquisition
A spokesperson for ATD declines to comment on the story and Citi spokesperson declines to comment on rumors.
The potential acquisition is estimated to be worth $700 million, according to reports in The Wall Street Journal, which broke the story last week.
“It’s a pretty high price tag,” says David Easthope, senior analyst with Boston-based financial research firm Celent. “I’m not sure how they valued the firm.”
Part of the reason for the high price may be the fact that private equity firm
