Fifteen years ago when Debra Walton, global managing director of investment banking at Thomson Financial, looked across the table at a client meeting, the face staring back at her typically belonged to a man. Then she started seeing a trickle of women clients, including Leslie Tortora, who would later become Goldman Sachs' chief information officer. Today, Walton sees more women than ever, but as she puts it, "The reality is that men are still in the majority of the senior management positions."
