C.J. Lawrence Investment Management has begun replacing its dumb terminal-based Quotron Q1000 quote service with the same vendor's local area network-based Advantage AE service. Prior to selecting Advantage AE--which will eventually support about 150 users at C.J. Lawrence's New York headquarters--the firm also evaluated the quote system offered by Thomson Financial Services Inc.'s ILX Systems Inc. unit.
