Liquidnet Taps Takis Christias to Further Electronic Execution, Algorithmic Offering

Christias to work on trading network’s suite of execution strategies and analytics, provide quantitative research.

Based in London, Christias will report to Chris Jackson, head of Liquidnet EQS EMEA.

Christias has joined Liquidnet’s Execution and Quantitative Services (EQS) group and is responsible for designing, implementing, and customizing the firm’s suite of execution strategies and analytics, as well as providing quantitative research and market microstructure insight.

Prior to Liquidnet, Christias held a number of senior roles at Citi, including head of algorithmic products for EMEA and leading the bank’s central risk automation effort in EMEA.

“Takis is a key addition to Liquidnet’s algorithmic design and development team in EMEA,” says Mark Pumfrey, head of Liquidnet EMEA. “The ability to optimize execution strategies to navigate the changing liquidity landscape is crucial to our clients.”
