Fidessa Beefs Up EMEA Team

Fidessa announced that it has appointed James Blackburn as its marketing director for the firm's hosted services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Simon Woods as its commercial director of enterprise accounts for EMEA.

Blackburn, a former equity trader and sales associate for Merrill Lynch, will work to expand the firm's software-as-a-service (SaaS) presence in the region. He will report to Martin Scanlan, CEO of Fidessa's hosted services business.
