MORE IT CUTS AT ING

Dutch banking group ING announced last week that it will cut 500 jobs and outsource approximately 2,200 positions in its operations and IT activities in the Benelux countries of Europe. The announcement will affect IT personnel that support ING's retail, wholesale banking and insurance operations in the region. Officials at ING decline to comment upon the number of IT personnel responsible for the wholesale banking technologies who would be let go or outsourced. The job cuts
