BYRNE GONE FROM REUTERS
Ken Byrne, executive vice president, North America, Reuters, left the company last week as a result of the elimination of his role, a Reuters spokesperson confirmed. Byrne's position, for which he had major responsibilities for the North American channel accounts, will be combined with the as-yet unfilled role of Head of Sales for Reuters in the Americas, the spokesperson says. "Phil Lynch [CEO, Americas at Reuters] decided that he actually wanted to combine the two roles
