SEC TAPS DERBY FOR OPERATIONS

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has appointed Peter Derby as managing executive for operations, assisting chairman William Donaldson with increasing operational effectiveness as the SEC grows. Derby, a member of the board of trustees of the Village of Irvington-on-Hudson, NY, founded Russian bank Dialogbank in the 1990s. Patrick Von Bergen, former executive director of the National Center for Regional Innovation, becomes managing executive for policy
