O’CONOR NAMED SELL-SIDE CHAIRMAN OF FPL
The FIX Protocol Limited (FPL) Association announced that its US Steering Committee has chosen Michael O’Conor, Merrill Lynch’s managing director of global client connectivity, as the organization’s sell-side chairman. O’Conor replaces Jim Leman, one of FPL’s founders, who will continue to represent Salomon Smith Barney on the US Steering Committee. O’Conor will join buy-side chair Michael Caffi of State Street Global Advisors as the US steering committee
