SAVVIS NAMES NEW CEO

Financial network and hosting services provider Savvis last week named Philip J. Koen as its new CEO, taking over for Rob McCormick who left the post following a well-publicized dispute with American Express over a $240,000 bill for one night at a Manhattan strip club (DWT, Oct. 24, 2005). Koen spent the last six years at Equinix, a provider of network data centers, most recently as president and chief operating officer (COO), prior to which he was chief financial officer
