SUN NAMES SCHWARTZ ASCEO
Amid rumors of his imminent departure, Scott McNealy did in fact step away from his post as CEO of Sun Microsystems last week. In his place, the Sun board, as expected, has appointed current president Jonathan Schwartz as the new CEO, leaving McNealy to stay on as the chairman of Sun and Sun Federal, which is focused on Sun's U.S. government customers.
