Thomson Reuters has agreed to make its pricing and reference data available through Area Finanza, a securities trading and post-trade processing management system offered by Milan-based CAD IT Group.

Area Finanza has 200,000 users, according to the company, who will now be able to access pre-configured data fields from Thomson Reuters' DataScope Select, including reference data, corporate actions, legal entity information, and end-of-day and intra-day evaluated pricing.

"Ensuring you have access to the latest data so you can stay on top of your holdings and ensure you are compliant is of paramount importance to our customers," says Giuseppe Dal Cortivo, chairman and CEO of CAD IT Group. "This partnership allows CAD IT to build on the products and services we offer, ensuring that our customers have direct access to some of the very best pricing and reference data available in the market."

DataScope Select delivers non-streaming pricing and reference content. "Thomson Reuters is committed to partnering with the market's leading service providers," says Marion Leslie, managing director of pricing, reference and regulatory services at Thomson Reuters. "Now, even more market practitioners can access our wealth of content to better assist them in processing their security holdings and in meeting their regulatory obligations."
