The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF), based in Basel, Switzerland, has launched a new website, gleif.org, which entities can use to get legal entity identifiers (LEIs) from GLEIF partners worldwide, according to officials.

The site also contains information on the benefits of the global LEI system, and allows stakeholders to communicate with the GLEIF and issue updates on their progress. According to GLEIF officials, the site will also provide the "authoritative" database of all LEIs, in all the languages of G20 countries.
