MMT Post-Trade Standard Joins FIX Family

The Market Model Typology (MMT) has become a FIX-administered standard and is expected to become more widely adopted as a result, making post-trade data more consistent.

The MMT provides a standardized way of sharing information about how a trade was executed. The MMT project was initiated by the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE), as a means of implementing the technical advice issued by the Committee of European Securities Regulators in 2010.
