CBOT: CANTOR CAN'T SIT ON CFFE BOARD

Shortly after the Commodity Futures Trading Commission extended by 15 days the opportunity for additional public comment on the application of the Cantor Financial Futures Exchange (CFFE), the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) charged that because Cantor was fined $500,000 last year for trading violations, the Cantor Group cannot have any representation on the CFFE board.
