Morgan, Yamaichi Bond Salespeople and Traders Use Data Mining Tool To Back Up Their Hunches

The Profile Analyzer, a Microsoft Windows NT-based data mining tool from Performance Trading Technologies (PTT), gives bond traders an opportunity to quantify their hunches with hard numbers and facts, say early adopters of the new tool.
The Analyzer is a database containing six years' worth of bond prices from Commodity Quote Graphics (CQG), headline news from Ried Thunberg and market prices from the Chicago Board of Trade for each of its trading periods.
