FIX Committees Plan Guidelines For Handling And Processing Indications

LONDON--The US and European FIX committees have launched an initiative to develop a code of conduct on the use of indications of interests, or IoIs. Currently, third party suppliers of price quotes and software publishers such as Thomson Financial Services' Autex group vary in their procedures for handling and presenting indications, and the initiative is intended to resolve these inconsistencies.
