Citibank Thinks Pan-European for E-business
ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGY
LONDON--Citibank’s E-business division is now focusing on providing pan-European electronic trading, settlement and billing solutions, after it combined two geographic teams late last year, Jagdish Rao, Citibank E-business’ regional head for EMEA, told Trading Technology Week last week.
The strategy is to Web-enable all of the bank’s products first, then to give clients the means to transform their own businesses, such as e-billing. The third part of the plan is to extend into new markets such
