Phibro, SHL Sign Three Firms For Resurrected MC2 Systems

Salomon Brothers Inc.'s energy-trading Phibro division has teamed with SHL Systemhouse Inc. to revitalize sales of Phibro's internally developed NeXTstep-based commodities trading system, once marketed under the name mc2. The pair recently bagged three new customers: EOTT Energy Trading Co. and PEUSA Energy Trading -- both based in Houston -- as well as PMI Commercial Internacional, a unit of Mexico's national oil company (Pemex).
