Lehman Brothers Presents Fixed Income Browser At JavaOne

SAN FRANCISCO--Among the real-life Java applications showcased during a financial services session at last week's Sun Microsystems JavaOne conference was Lehman Brothers' Fixed Income Index Browser.

The development of the application was presented at the San Francisco event by Yuval Lirov, a senior vice president at Lehmans based in New York, who suggested that Java has become a credible--if not yet complete--platform for developing financial trading applications.
