Credit Lyonnais Tokyo Nixes Fist, Rolls Triarch, NT For Bank, Securities

DEALING ROOM SYSTEMS

Credit Lyonnais in Tokyo cut over late last month to a new digital data distribution system to support the dealers from both its banking division and its securities arm. The new 75-position system comprises a mixture of Microsoft Corp. Windows NT-based PCs and Unix-based workstations from Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard, linked by Reuters' Triarch data delivery platform.

The move gives Credit Lyonnais one of the first NT-dominated dealing rooms to go live in Tokyo--and lends added momentum
