NEW YORK--Strike Technologies, the newest entrant in the electronic communications network sweepstakes is gearing up for its launch later this month. Bear Stearns is the primary partner behind the limited liability company, although its other backers include Salomon Smith Barney, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Paine Webber, Cantor Fitzgerald, Hambrecht & Quist, Nationsbanc Montgomery Securities and Sun Microsystems. CIBC Oppenheimer and Lehman Brothers are both scheduled to join at a later date
