DJM Debuts Cross-Platform Active1 At Microsoft's COMDEX Pavilion

DESKTOP APPLICATIONS

NEW YORK--The future of the Dow Jones Markets (DJM) desktop begins with Active1--a new front-end that makes heavy use of Microsoft's ActiveX.

Intended for the Dow Jones Platform, the new front-end is also a significant move by the vendor toward cross-platform support for non-DJM environments such as Reuters' Triarch and Tibco's the Information Bus (TIB). Active1 is being considered by Morgan Stanley for its equities traders in New York and London (Trading Systems Technology, October 13).
