HSBC Securities Shifts To Windows NT For App Development And Desktop OS

TOKYO--While HSBC Securities has clarified its digital data distribution platform by standardizing on The Information Bus (TIB) from Tibco, it will not be as clearcut for the operating systems in use on the front end.
While Unix is not going away, its use as a desktop operating system and front-end development environment is diminishing.
