Reuters' executive directors did not receive bonuses last year because installations of the vendor's 3000 series fell short of the target of 30,000 and because the strong pound hurt earnings growth. Chief executive Peter Job's compensation dropped to £513,000 last year from £651,000 in 1996, according to the vendor's annual report. Finance director Rob Rowley's pay declined to £320,000 from £408,000 the previous year. Executive director David Ure saw his compensation decline to £337,000 million
