Reuters Agrees To Provide News And Data To NBC
VENDOR STRATEGIES
Reuters America has signed a ten-year agreement to supply NBC -- which owns the CNBC business news channel -- with news, text wires and financial data services to meet various of NBC's programming needs. The current deal -- arranged through Reuters' mainline U.S. financial information vending business -- follows on an earlier deal with NBC, that one arranged through the vendor's Reuters Television Ltd. unit. The prior deal was limited to the exchange of video news feeds.
The new agreement
