Bloomberg SID Move Raises Admin Concerns

SID files contain a range of administrative information-including entitlements, pricing and electronic invoice data-that firms can use to manage their Bloomberg market data inventories and to reconcile for billing purposes. But because Bloomberg's sales model targets individual accounts, rather than group-wide deals, global institutions can be faced with the task of consolidating data from tens-or even hundreds-of SID files to understand their group-wide Bloomberg usage.
