NYSE Ramps Up Arca Bandwidth

Last Monday, Oct. 6, NYSE sent a notification to ArcaBook Multicast feed subscribers warning them that it would change the throttle on the feed from 40 megabits per second to 75 Mbps overnight, and recommending that they increase their bandwidth accordingly "as soon as possible."

According to the notification, clients with less than 75 Mbps of bandwidth may experience "some packet loss," though any missing data packets can be recovered using the exchange's Refresh Channels and TCP Retransmission
