Capital IQ Buys Reuters Research, Estimates Copies
Capital IQ officials hope the new additions will make the vendor a competitive alternative in the fundamental research space for asset managers and hedge funds, and equity research and investment banking staff in sell-side firms.
The estimates service is already in live production via Capital IQ's desktop platform, since the vendor had been a redistributor of Reuters Estimates data since 2003, which meant it was already familiar with the service and its file formats. As well as making the data
