NYSE Arca Fee Debate Continues
Although the SEC has approved the NYSE Arca fees on the basis that the exchange is subject to significant competition for order flow, several constituent groups have now expressed their opposition to the ruling-including the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and NetCoalition, a Washington-based group that lobbies to promote the freedom of the Internet (IMD, July 21).
