HVB, Unicredit Consolidate Data Functions
“We have a very challenging situation at the moment… we are in the process of consolidating all market data issues and centralizing them in Munich,” says Charles Hermans, head of market data management at HVB.
One consequence of the reorganization is that HVB is looking to build out the market data department at its Munich headquarters, Hermans says. By bolstering the department and consolidating the market data function in Munich, the bank is embarking on a project to negotiate vendor contracts
